We rocked the 'Rock'!

Earlier today, two of my fellow China Mission Delegates and I met with the Dean of our univeristy - the University of Ottawa. Our meeting with President Allan Rock was about 45 minutes long, and it gave us the chance to speak one on one with the legend himself. We had the chance to discuss our endeavour in detail and our potential role as "brand ambassadors" for the Univeristy of Ottawa.

All in all...a success!

    It is great to see you meeting and appreciating people like Mr Rock. Here is a Canadian who has done most things many other people can only hear or read about. A true Canadian whether he was representing Canada as our Ambassador to the U.S. or acting in government as Health and Justice Minister for Prime Minister Chretien. To have the opportunity to spend time with a person such as him and to be able to have him as a contact will only help a young person moving up in their political/law career. Meeting people is part of representing yourself and your cause and always remember bridges are means of getting to where you need to be but don't forget you need them just in case your road takes you back to where you once were.
